Share God’s love with the honest, frank, reliable and hard-working people of Germany. Help refugees from the Middle East  find their fit through our café-style hangouts, offer hope of a better future to the people on the streets of Berlin, empower children and young people from difficult backgrounds or use your professional skills to support the OM national team.

Sharing the love of God practically

Germany has a population of 84.4 million people, with 94 different peoples’ groups, making it one of the most densely populated countries in the world.  Kurds, Turks, Iranians, North African Arabs and Berbers, Bosnians all flood into Germany from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe to work, study, flee persecution or in search of a better life. Over 70 per cent of the population live in urban areas, and 99 per cent benefit from education. Today’s Germany offers unprecedented access to wealth, influence and location within the European Union. Its open acceptance of the vibrant mix of cultures, social and national identities brings unique opportunities to its historic Christian identity.

For Germans welcome a direct approach that speaks clearly to the individual. “We recognize there is a growing need of people to hear the clear and life-changing message of the love of God in Germany,” said a team leader. “We long to inspire, equip and train others for a life that can positively impact our nation and the world.”

Come to our office and conference centre in the beautiful Neckar Valley and use your professional skills in administration, logistics, and house-keeping facilities. Enjoy networking with many churches all over Germany.

Or join one of our four teams across Germany in Berlin, Chemnitz, Hamburg and Heilbronn working with people from migrant backgrounds or socially deprived areas. Take part in practical outreaches, talking about spiritual meaning in depth, as well as sharing through language learning, sports ministries, open cafés and children’s work.

Jesus followers in Germany

There is religious freedom in Germany, and due to its centuries’-long adherence to Christianity, a church building can be found in almost every village and town. However, today less than 60 per cent profess to actively follow Jesus. 21st Century Germany faces spiritual challenges where New Age, occultic, Satanic, and newly discovered old pagan religions all grow in popularity, including those claiming: “no religion”, other than materialism. Yet this also offers great opportunity to demonstrate the Truth in practical ways to those who have yet to hear and accept.

Whether you come for a long or short time, or whether you pray, or invest in lives through financial support, there are many ways for you to share God’s love with the people in Germany.
