The brands of OM's ship ministry have hundreds of thousands of followers and reach millions of individuals around the world every year, including in countries where the Gospel is not widespread.

But an average post on social media is usually only seen by a fraction of the followers, because there is so much noise online, and the social media platform algorithms only show what they think the viewer most wants to see. When something gets posted on Social Media sites, the post has an invisible "post score,” and when people "like, comment and share" the post score goes up, and the platform shows it to more people.

For example, if we post a link to a free bible app on facebook.com/logoshope and you share that post to your own profile, even though you have no connection to them, a person in a least reached community who follows us because we visited their country in the past, will have a higher chance of seeing the post. And if they then share it themselves, all their connections in that community might see it.

We encourage you to follow other organisation’s accounts as well, and especially when you see something that points people towards Jesus, or mobilises His church, help it to go viral!
