"Right now three things remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love."
— 1 Corinthians 13:13
In northern Lesotho surrounded by mountains, the OM Lesotho ministry brings hope and restoration to the Basotho people by addressing physical and spiritual needs. Do you have a passion to serve cross-culturally and to love people unconditionally? Do you love sharing your life and skills with others to build them up? Then Lesotho is calling out to you. You can share the love of Jesus through farming training, education, evangelism, discipleship, and in many more practical ways.
A skills training centre for woodworking and sewing/dressmaking is in development. The multinational OM Team in Lesotho needs skilled trainers, but most of all those who want to share and live the love of Jesus. A church that was planted by the team in 2018 is growing and is focusing on discipleship and building up strong spiritual foundations for those who started to follow Jesus Christ. Establishing vibrant communities of Jesus followers in all villages around Moteng and Malefioane is the aim of all their efforts.
Join us and experience rural life at its best far away from the city lights.
The global pandemic has brought new challenges to all of our lives and for some people, such as the poorest of the poor in Lesotho, this means surviving each day. Lesotho was already struggling economically before COVID-19, and the loss of jobs due to the virus means people are literally going hungry.
During this time, OM in Lesotho is helping the most vulnerable people in the community by distributing food packages to address their immediate needs as well as by creating a sustainable self-help programme to help people earn an income and support themselves. But we can’t do it without you. Your gift will help OM share the love, hope and peace of Jesus with the people of Lesotho.
