Benin 2023 - Africa Sings Summer Festival

Africa Sing has the desire to promote Christian worship based on indigenous music and to encourage the creation of songs for peace and Christian witness. They host a summer festival every year and use it as a platform for missiological and theological reflections on African arts and cultures. This Arts and Culture Festival 2023 consists of:

• Festival with Presentation/Speakers: August 3, 2023
• Festival with Arts & Culture Exposition: August 4, 2022
• Concert/ Musical Competition: August 5, 2022

Inspiro team will join:

• Recording a peace song with Africa Sings’ team
• The concert by playing simple African musical instruments and singing chorus in the local language

Team leader, Speaker for the presentation day, Musicians and artists
Roles:

• Team leader: leading the team, communicating with the host
• Speaker: a person who can speak on the topic of "Changing Mindset and Transforming Lives of Children and Youth Through Music Education"
• Musicians/artists: who want to learn about Benin's culture and enjoy the festival

SIM Guesthouse Cotonou SIM Guesthouse Parakou

Meal costs are included in the budget, and the host will provide breakfast for the team.

The team will be in and out at the Cotonou Cadjehoun airport. When the team arrives in Cotonou, they are going to move (by taxi) to the SIM Guesthouse Cotonou and spend a night there. The next day, the team will go to Parakou (by bus), where the festival happens.
